The ReKindle centre is a modern, inviting set of rooms for couples counselling. Designed to feel cosy, you’ll always be welcomed with a smile. Our Counsellors are highly trained professionals and have the skills to be able to help your relationship issues. Motivation is key, it’s helpful if clients have the desire to work with the Counsellor and each other.

Our Mission

To provide a high quality, innovative and affordable approach to

Couples Counselling and Training. Through the therapeutic relationship, we aim to support people seeking our help with communication, emotional or psychological issues affecting their relationships and their lives.


Our clients will develop and gain the skills and awareness needed for ongoing success in life, within a safe and confidential environment in accordance with the NCPS & BACP ethical frameworks. Talking is healing and we expect success only through our client’s personal successes.

The ReKindle centre is a modern, inviting set of rooms for relationship counselling, designed to feel like you’re at home.


There's parking nearby but no parking out the front of the property. Chilled filtered water is available for your convenience and can be taken into the room with you.

We all benefit when LGBTQI+ human rights are respected, and every one of the Counsellors, Tutors, Trainees and Visitors can bring their authentic selves to the centre. ReKindle is committed to supporting diversity of sexual orientation and gender identity. No two relationships are the same, so we tailor and adapt to your requirements in therapy.


FAQ

You can look at the team's profiles on the 'Meet the Team' page on this website. Then go  to the 'Self refer' page to apply. You'll be contacted within a few days by ReKindle and then by your Counsellor to get the first session booked. In the meantime, you can self refer to see Sian at £85 per hour

Go  to the 'Affordable Therapy Self refer' page to apply. Once our first group of Counsellors have finished their training in February 2025 they will be ready to see you.You'll be contacted after that by ReKindle and then by your Counsellor to get the first session booked. You're welcome to contact us early to register your interest.

These are qualified and experienced Counsellors that already have their own set up at another office. So some will go back to their office and be pleased to take you with them.

You have a choice during the self referral to specify if that is OK or whether you'd rather stay at the ReKindle Centre.

This is a Scheme run by us to make each newly trained ReKindle specialist available to be seen at a reduced fee of £45.00 per couple for 6 sessions. Then to re-negotiate the fee from the 7th session onwards. You'll talk about this from the first session with your new Counsellor. You and your partner may only need 6 sessions or you might want to reapply for the scheme again for another 6 sessions with another newly trained ReKindle Specialist.

When looking at the Private Profiles, you can choose up to 3 preferences on your self referral.

You cannot choose if your'e applying for the 'Affordable Scheme' but your preferences are taken into account on the self-referral form

That's OK. You'll relay that to the manager at rk.manager@rekindlecounselling.co.uk and we will assign you somebody else. It's very important that you like your Counsellor and we want to hear all of your feedback.

More private profiles will be added from March 2025 once our first set of Counsellors have finished their training. It takes them 6-8 weeks to get through the training, they'll be ready for you to choose from then. In the meantime, you can contact us and register your interest or apply to book privately with our Course Designer and Tutor Sian at £85 per session.

At ReKindle, we realised this problem and have been noticing many of you need the help NOW. So in response to this, you may self refer and see a trusted newly trained couples counsellor at Rekindle on the Scheme now.

1. You fill out our form and self refer

2. You get contacted to book your first session by the counsellor

3. You'll receive 6 sessions at £45 each

4. You'll have negotiated a fee from the 7th session onwards with this counsellor to remain with them OR end your sessions as you're done OR reapply for another counsellor on the scheme (one may or may not be available)
